The creative forces behind Vintaj, the Art Bead Scene and Now That's a Jig are bringing you an event not to miss!

Join us for three days of mixed media jewelry explorations with Heather Powers, Jess Italia Lincoln, Erin Prais-Hintz and Brenda Schweder. Play with wire, metal, clay, leather and more during two full days of classes.

Our adventure starts at the picturesque Chestnut Mountain Resort nestled in the hills in Galena, IL. overlooking the Mississippi River.  On our first day we will gather for a Meet & Greet with our students and instructors. Join in our retreat pendant swap, design contest and exclusive presentations by our instructors. Explore the beautiful grounds before dinner at the resort and we'll gather in the evening for a creative Open Beading Session led by Heather and Erin.

The next day get ready for our first all day class. After digging into your mixed media jewelry projects and a delicious dinner at the resort, we'll gather again in the evening for shopping with our instructors and more beading! Classes can be seen here.

On Saturday it's time for your second class with one of our amazing instructors. Picking out which classes you are going to take will be tough! Our instructors have worked hard to bring you classes that will inspire you and encourage your muse to play.

We will wrap up our event with a farewell party. You may choose to stay another night to shop and explore historic downtown Galena. Rustic River Finds is hosting an event for retreat participants at the bead shop on Saturday night.

Save the date and plan to join us!

The cost for the retreat is $275 for the three day event and includes two classes, gift bag with goodies from our sponsors, evening events, breakfast and lunch.

Not included: lodging, dinners and class kits.

Chestnut Mountain Lodge is offering us their premium rooms at $109 + tax for Thursday & Friday night and $159 + tax for Saturday. Premium rooms include 2 queen beds, sofa, tables & chairs, microwave, refrigerator and a large bathroom with an extra vanity and sink in the room.  The lodge has two restaurants so you can enjoy a relaxing dinner on site.

Class kits will be a nominal fee to cover materials used in the class and will be posted with the class descriptions.
