Heather Powers

Heather is the busy beadmaker and jewelry designer behind Humblebeads. Creating and selling for over 24 years, Heather also teaches across the country and hosts retreats.  Heather is the organizer of the annual Bead Cruise, now in it's 13th year! She sells her beads online to designers around the world and at Bead & Button. Heather is the author of Jewelry Designs from Nature, Beautiful Elements and the Beadmaking Lab.

Jess Italia Lincoln

Jess’s charisma and love of art reflects through her designs… Vintaj Signature Designer, Jess Lincoln – Inspired by and interested in all forms of art, Jess has dabbled in it all. Her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree guided her to follow a creative path in both advertising & design. As the Signature Designer for Vintaj she teaches and shares many tips and techniques through online videos, the Vintaj Jewelry Technique books, beading publications and creative events. She works closely with design inspiration for Vintaj Patinas by Ranger and DecoEtch and DecoEmboss Dies by Sizzix. Her design style is inspired by nature and all its treasures. Brenda Schweder

Brenda Schweder is an artist, author, teacher, columnist, and inventor of Now That’s a Jig!, and Now That’s a Pliers! by Swanstrom Tools USA. She’s written “Collaborate: Friends in the Making” (self-published), “Steel Wire Jewelry” (Lark Jewelry & Beading), and “Junk to Jewelry” and “Vintage Redux” (Kalmbach Books). Her designs and fashion jewelry forecasts have been published over 100 times in books and magazines including “Beautiful Leather Jewelry” (Kalmbach Books), “Crystal Jewelry Inspiration” (Kalmbach Books), “Foxy Epoxy” (Lark Jewelry & Beading), “30-Minute Bracelets”, “30-Minute Necklaces”, “30-Minute Rings”, and “30-Minute Earrings” (Lark Jewelry & Beading) to name just a few.

Schweder masterminded “Collaborate: Friends in the Making”, a project-turned-book-turned-exhibit-turned auction where she “did the wire” and 27 other artist collaborator friends “did their thang” yielding thirty-plus multi-media works and thousands of dollars in contributions to breast cancer research via the Bead&Button Show 2014. And now Collaborate15 lives on!

Schweder was an Artist of the Year (2015) for Step by Step Wire Jewelry and pens Wirework’s “Creative Minds,” a column on cultivating personal creativity. Erin Prais-Hintz

Erin is a color addict who designs one of a kind wearable works of art for her company Tesori Trovati Jewelry. No bead goes unloved in her studio. She loves to mix patterns and textures, colors and metals, simple beads with stunning art beads for looks that have wit, whimsy and tell your story.  Erin has designed for Interweave, Nunn Designs and Halfcraft.  She's a regular contributor to the Art Bead Scene blog and Earrings Everyday.
